Time, measured by clocks, is calculated from the earths rotation. Two laps on the clocks plate matchs one lap for the earth around its own axis. That forms one day and one night. The planets is for us a kind of clocks who tell us time, one year is one lap around the sun.

This inspired me to use the look of planets when designing my clock. The spere is a simple universal shape who may be associated to a number of things. A classic example of a planet as interior detail is the globe.

I’m interested in 2D vs 3D, space and pop culture. I like simplicity that is far away from minimalistic. I see glass as the ideal material to communicate the fluid, mystical colors, looks and endless variations of unknown planets.
